How can Blue Current Energy provide energy at trading prices?
We are in the world to help households consume less or more sustainable energy. It does not fit in with this that we earn from a kWh/m3 consumed. As a result, unlike traditional energy companies, we do not charge a profit surcharge on the purchase price of a kWh or m3 of gas consumed by you. If you use more energy, we don't make more money.
Like all traditional energy companies, we buy our energy on the wholesale exchange. To make use of this, we are charged costs, which we pass on to you, which is called the purchase fee. In order to be able to provide our services, we charge a monthly standing charge. Click here for the amount of the purchase fee and the standing charge.
