How can I cancel my contract and are there any costs involved?
At Blue Current Energy you have a contract for an indefinite period. This makes it possible for you to terminate your contract whenever you want without incurring any cancellation penalties for additional costs.
Are you switching to another energy supplier? Then you do not have to cancel your contract with us, your new supplier will take care of this. We will then share the final bill with you, this is an overview of your actual costs and any money to be received back.
If you haven't started using energy yet but you still want to cancel your contract? Then that is also possible. According to the law, you have a standard cooling-off period of 14 days. After your cancellation, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. Your cooling-off period starts on the day you receive the confirmation of your contract. After those 14 days, your registration is final.
