In the Blue Current app you can view the current gas prices, which change per day. On average, dynamic gas prices are lower than the fixed tariffs of traditional energy suppliers due to the risk margin charged by traditional suppliers.
At Blue Current Energy, you always pay the current market price, without extra surcharges. At Blue Current Energy, you can choose to purchase only electricity, or both electricity and gas. We charge a fixed amount per month, this amount can be found here.
Do you opt for gas and electricity? Then you pay the fixed amount for two connections. Are you going to live gas-free and do you want to cancel your gas connection? You can! Follow these steps:
1. Request for removal: Request the removal of your gas connection via www.mijnaansluiting.nl.
2. Removal or temporary closure: The network operator removes the gas meter and connection pipe. Don't want to remove the gas connection permanently yet? Then you can have it temporarily closed for a maximum of 12 months.
3. Contact with Blue Current Energy: Please contact us to inform us of the date on which your gas connection will be disconnected. We will then adjust your energy contract and monthly amount.
Please note: there are costs associated with reconnecting gas, which are passed on by the network operator. Removing the gas connection is free of charge.
