With Blue Current, you get exactly the same dynamic rate for your solar power as for your consumption. This way you take full advantage of your generated energy.
How do we calculate your compensation? It's all about your annual balance. Two outcomes are possible:
1. You consume more than you feed in For each kWh you will receive the current hourly rate + energy tax/surcharges Example:
With 3,200 kWh consumption and 2,800 kWh feed-in:
Average feed-in tariff: €0.22/kWh
Energy tax refund: €0.15/kWh
€616 (electricity) + €420 (taxes) = €1,036 total
2. You return more than you consume
You pay the hourly rate + taxes on your total consumption
You only pay the basic hourly rate on the surplus Example:
With 2,500 kWh consumption and 4,000 kWh feed-in:
Average rate €0.20/kWh Energy tax refund €0.15/kWh on 2,500 kWh:
this is tax money that you have paid but that will be repaired through a correction ? → €0.20*4,000kWh = €800 (electricity) + €0.15*2,500kWh = €375 (taxes) = €1,175 total
Maximum value for your current Our dynamic model means:
- Higher compensation in case of scarcity (e.g. winter evenings)
- No fixed low feed-in tariffs
- Fair market price per hour
