Why do I have a fixed monthly amount with a dynamic contract and can I adjust it?

Your monthly amount is an advance on your actual energy costs over a whole year. We do this to prevent you from paying a different amount every month, especially since your consumption is often higher in winter than in summer.

At Blue Current Energy, we calculate your monthly amount based on:

1. The consumption that you specify yourself.

2. The best possible estimate of the expected purchase prices, which are the same for all suppliers.

In contrast to a fixed rate, which is fixed for six months or more, we work with dynamic rates. This means that we continuously monitor the expected prices to ensure that your monthly amount is as close as possible to your actual costs.
