Why does the generation of my solar panel differ from that of Blue Current Energy?
At Blue Current Energy, we understand that this difference raises questions. This is the explanation:
1. What does your solar panel app measure? - Shows the total yield of your solar panels - Registers all generated power, immediately after production
2. What does our app show?
- Only shows the feed-in to the grid
- Keeps track of what your meter registers
- The difference explained
The missing part is:
→ Directly self-consumed (e.g. by appliances that are currently on)
→ Never went through the meter
→ Produced by your panels Example: If your panels produce 10 kWh and you use 4 kWh directly, then: Panel app shows: 10 kWh Our app shows: 6 kWh feed-in
