These are the different ways to charge your car
There are three ways to charge an electric car at a Blue Current charge point:
- authorisation via charging token
- authorisation via the app
- via Plug & Charge, which allows anyone to charge their car without a charging token, i.e. the car will start charging the moment the charging cable is connected to the charge point.
A Hidden charge point does not allow for charging by charging token, as it is not possible to offer a charging token to this type of charge point. It is possible to start the charging session via the app or to charge via Plug & Charge.
Would you like to charge via the Plug & Charge method, but the costs of home charging are to be settled by your employer? You can add a default charging token (paid by your employer) via the app that we will invoice the costs for all charge sessions to. Consequently, we will reimburse you for your electricity costs.
