1. Ordering a charge point

How does charging on your own premises work?

What about the charging costs?

If you have had a charge point installed then in most cases it will have been connected to your own fuse box. While charging, electricity is used, which can be seen on your electricity bill afterwards. As owner of the charge point you can choose whether costs should be charged for charging. If so, the rate set on the charge point per kWh (+VAT) is charged to the user's charge card by Blue Current. Consequently, we reimburse you against that rate.

Lease car drivers generally settle charging costs via the charge card. This way the used electricity is properly reimbursed (by the employer, via Blue Current). If you have purchased your own charge point(s) then you could choose not to charge a fee for charging. It is also possible to bill only guests and exclude your own charge cards from automatic settlement. These latter two options are easily set in the backoffice and the app by altering the charge point's settings.
