The charge point will not start charging. What is the cause?
There are a few different possible causes:

The cable is not attached securely enough to charge point or car: remove the cable from both sides and press the plugs firmly back into their respective sockets.

The charge point has been set up to only start a charging session if it has registered a charge card held up to its sensor - and a charge card has not been held up to its sensor yet.

A previous charging session has not yet been terminated with the correct charge card (the charge card with which the session was started).

The charge card you are using is no longer valid. We can check this for you.

The car has not yet given the charge point the signal to start charging. Most cars first need to be told by the user that they should start charging. Some cars diverge from the industry standard en need a minimum charging capacity to start charging. We would need to adjust settings to facilitate this.

Something is wrong with the car, it needs a check-up at the workshop.

Something is wrong with the charge point due to a software or hardware error.
In this final case it is possible to turn off the power to the charge point for 1 minute, in order to reboot the charge point and resolve any software errors.
