      How do I set up a Plug & Charge charge card?

      What is a Plug & Charge charge card and how do you set it up?

      No need for a charge card when charging
      As soon as you use Plug & Charge:

      • you no longer need to scan a charge card at a charging station;
      • charging starts automatically as soon as you plug in;
      • charges are settled automatically via your chosen charge card.

      Simple and automatic

      You choose one charge card, set it up once, and then you don't have to worry about it anymore. 

      Note: If you received a new charge card from your employer or your old one has expired. Then set up your Plug & Charge charge card again. 


      Adding a Plug & Charge charge card to your charge point

      Set up a default charge card via the my.bluecurrent.nl environment or in the app.

      1. Go to the 'Charge points' menu (on the left in the dashboard or at the bottom of the second icon in the app)
      2. Select the charge point to which you want to link the card
      3. Desktop: Click on the three dots and select 'settings'
        App: Click on the name of the charge point
      4. Choose 'Plug & Charge charging card'
      5. Add the card here
