What should I do if my P1-port it's already occupied?

Your P1 port is the connection on your smart meter that can be used to read your energy consumption. Read below how to recognize it and what you can do if it's already in use.

What if the P1 port is already occupied?

No problem! Our WattsOn has a built-in P1 extender:

1. Connect your current device to the WattsOn's “P1 OUT” port
2. Connect the WattsOn itself to the P1 port of your smart meter, please follow those instructions
3. Done - now you are reading both your existing device and the WattsOn without any problems

Note: Do not forget to remove the protective cover of the “P1 OUT” port with a screwdriver.
