What if the direct debit is declined?

If the direct debit fails, you will automatically receive a reminder email. This email will explain what went wrong and on what date we will try to debit the amount again. In some cases, you can also pay immediately via a payment link in the email.

A failed direct debit can have various causes, such as insufficient funds, a low direct debit limit at your bank, an invalid or missing authorization, or a changed account number (IBAN) that has not yet been communicated. It is also possible that the direct debit has been blocked by your bank.
